Terms of service
Draft for review before launch.
For churches
- GoodSeed costs a flat monthly fee (currently £9.99). We never take a percentage of your gifts. Your payment provider, Stripe, charges its own processing fees directly to your Stripe account.
- Gifts are paid into your church’s own Stripe account and paid out to your bank by Stripe. GoodSeed does not hold or handle donated money.
- You are responsible for your Stripe account, for the accuracy of your charity details, and for your Gift Aid claims to HMRC. GoodSeed prepares claim schedules to help you.
- You are the data controller for your donors’ information and must use it lawfully. GoodSeed processes it on your behalf only to provide the service.
- You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing. If you stop paying, your giving page pauses; your records stay available to export.
- We may suspend accounts that are used for fraud or for anything other than genuine charitable giving.
For donors
- Your gift goes to the church you choose. Refund requests should be made to that church.
- Regular gifts continue until you change or cancel them, which you can do at any time from your giving dashboard or by contacting the church.
- Only make a Gift Aid declaration if you are a UK taxpayer and it is your own money.
